To support their project development, participants attend workshops led by academics and professionals in the arts and heritage fields. These workshops will provide a better understanding of, and spark new ideas about how historical narratives can be re-imagined through various creative mediums.

Participants will also receive feedback about their project as it develops through regular group crits with the steering committee, and invited experts.

Discussing narrative devices in film, Ben Slater encouraged the teams to embrace multiplicity in narratives, and cautioned against succumbing to  nostalgia when engaging with Singapore’s past.
