Our projects explore diverse areas of research relating to Singapore history — space, architecture, communities, language, race, relationships, the arts, etc.

Presented through creative or artistic mediums, they seek to join in the ongoing conversation surrounding Singapore's history, identity, and nationhood.

August 2017: Successful applicants informed

August 2017 - December 2018: Grant recipients to work on projects and attend regular workshops/crits, in preparation for the The Future of Our Pasts festival.

February - March 2019:  Projects presented in a multi-sited public festival, coinciding with the bicentenary of Raffles' landing in Singapore
